I would encourage forage producers to get their stored forages (hay and silage) analyzed pronto if they have not done so. Quality results that I have reviewed from the 2014 growing season have been lower in quality as a whole as compared to many other years. Excellent information about forage testing can be found at www.foragetesting.org After receipt of results, work with someone trained in livestock nutrition so a balanced ration can be provided to your livestock.
